How Does Nuviderm Work?
NuvidermTCA is an easy to use cosmetic acid which must be diluted for proper use. Nuviderm tattoo removal works on the same principle as Laser tattoo removal, which is, by controlled inflammation with one difference, Nuviderm tattoo removal works from the skin surface down to the ink through a series of skin peels where as Laser tattoo removal works directly on the ink in the skin. When the laser beam strikes the tattoo pigment it instantly reaches a temperature of 900 degrees Celsius which breaks apart a small portion of ink and boils the water in the surrounding skin tissue. The pigment is then absorbed by the body or migrates to the surface in the resulting blister. Needless to say this can be quite painful. Both methods work, but Nuviderm is far less painful, more like a slight tingling or burning sensation in most cases. It usually hurts less than getting the original tattoo did.
