New DIY tattoo removal product being developed

New DIY tattoo removal product being developed

Invention and innovation – also known as progress, has been somewhat lacking in the field of Do IT Yourself tattoo removal, but we hear rumors of a new tattoo removal product in the works that will set a new standard for the industry.

Rumored to be a cream, this new product actually penetrates through the epidermis to the dermis where tattoo pigment lives and actually “pulls” the pigment out. Unlike other creams on the market today, it is not a skin pigment fade cream masquerading as a tattoo removal cream. This new product reportedly removes tattoo pigment without effecting skin pigment.

Also, it is able to be used on tattoos as young as 30 days old allowing those suffering from next day tattoo regret the ability to start the removal process much sooner than any other product currently on the market.

Hopefully this new product will prove to be as effective as we’ve heard. We will definitely keep you apprised of new information as it becomes available.

Fast and Easy Tattoo Removal?

Worlds most tattooed woman

Worlds most tattooed woman

Fast and easy tattoo removal does not exist and from the look on Isobel’s face, she could’nt care less.  One of the things that concerns so many people when they first get a tattoo is if their beautiful ink is going to fade and look cheesy as time goes by. While that may have been true of your grandfather’s WWII mermaid tat, today’s ink is meant to be permanent.

And it’s that permanency that causes all the trouble when it comes time for you and your tattoo to part company.

Whatever the reason you’ve decided to go through the tattoo removal process, it shouldn’t surprise you that getting all of that ink to disappear isn’t any easy task.

There are five different processes in use today, but only carving out a chunk of your skin with a scalpel, called the excision method, is likely to make smaller tattoos disappear in just one visit.

Using a cosmetic acid based product, like Nuviderm, is fast becoming the preferred alternative for  people who want to fade or completely remove their tattoos without spending a lot of money and bleeding all over the floor.

Trichloroacetic acid (TCA) is  a cosmetic acid used by doctors, health spas and individuals to remove facial fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars and yes, tattoos.

In addition to being safe and inexpensive, products like Nuviderm are the only ones that can be reliably used by do-it-yourselfers who want to avoid getting de-inked in a doctor’s or tattoo removal professional’s office.

If it’s time to lose your tattoo, Nuviderm tattoo removal should be your best choice.

For todays edition of Nuviderm Reviews all we have to say is, if everyone was as happy with their tattoo(s) as Isobel there would be no need for tattoo removal products. As a matter of fact since that photo was taken Isobel has shaved her head and begun tattooing her scalp and forehead.

Tattoo Removal by Excision

Excision is a surgical approach to tattoo removal performed by a medical professional.
The process begins with receiving an injection of a local anesthetic directly into the part of the skin bearing the tattoo. Next, a scalpel is used to cut away and remove the skin bearing the tattoo.

Finally, the edges of the skin around the area from where the tattoo was removed are joined together and sutured. In instances where the tattoo covers a large area, it may be necessary to remove skin from other areas of the body and graft it onto the affected area.

Excision Pros

  • Small tattoos can usually be removed completely during a single visit.
  • The procedure is performed by a medical professional.

Excision Cons

  • Scarring and bleeding are common.
  • Multiple visits may be required for larger tattoos.
  • Skin grafts, if required, can be a complicated procedure.
  • Can be very expensive depending upon the size and quantity of tattoos.

Excision Tattoo Removal Alternatives

  • Laser Tattoo Removal
  • Dermabrasion/Salabrasion
  • Tattoo Removal Creams/Gels

Before deciding upon excision tattoo removal, make sure you thoroughly understand the risks as well as the alternate technologies available.
